Cow is a gift from God to mankind who from its birth to death is an asset to mankind. Everything that comes out of her body is salubrious to human health. Several researches on her urine as a medicine for many ailments. Ill-effects of chemical fertilizers on agriculture and benefits of cow dung on quality of agriculture produces have revealed that milk, urine and dung of mother cow are not only good for the mankind but also very essential for preservation of environment. Its significance is considerable even from national economy point of view. National income can be enhanced by producing medicines and objects of daily usages from Panchgavya( five gifts from mother cow- Milk, curd, ghee, urine and dung).

It is a matter of sorrow that cows are slaughtered on large scale in our country. A nationwide movement is run by Param Shakti Peeth for protection and spread of cow species. Plan is to establish well arranged goshalas like what it is at Vatsalya Gram, Vrindavan. At Omkareshwer also there has been established a well arranged Goshala.

Scientific researchers have proven that the best nutrition for a child is available in mother’s milk and cow’s milk is next to it.
